Description
The Hyacinth Bean is a lovely flowering vine native to Africa. The flowers are fragrant, & attract bees, birds, & butterflies. It is a legume, and is the most lovely way I can think of to improve the nitrogen in your soil! The plants are tolerant of drought & heavy soils like clay. Each pod contains up to 4 seeds, & it is also used as a fodder legume sown for grazing.
