Description
The Fairy Primrose is an excellent choice for adding a lot of great color to shady spots, boasting flowers measuring a 1/2" wide & appearing in clusters with as many as 30 blooms per. In warmer climates where they are perennial, the scalloped foliage is evergreen. They are popularly grown as annuals in cooler climates & also make a great houseplant. Fairy Primroses have a long bloom time, showing off for months on end. This RHS Award of Garden Merit winner can be used in beds, woodland gardens, rock gardens, or are great for borders with their fairly short stature. These plants can irritate the skin in some people, so it is recommended to wear gloves when handling them. Keep them out of reach of children & do not allow animals to eat them.
